What is a Trust Indicator
Matches refer to other members with whom you have successfully made housing arrangements, either as a host or tenant, using ltlistings. For every match facilitated through our platform, a Made-a-Match Fee of USD $50 (or its equivalent) is required from each individual. Members can announce or confirm their matches and, in return, earn Trust Points for each successful match.
Trust Indicators
Your Trust Score acts as the initial impression you make within our community. You’ll automatically earn Trust Points across various aspects of the website without any extra effort. Simple actions like registering, completing your profile, and posting home or tenant listings will earn you points. Writing personal references and inviting or referring new members are additional ways to accumulate Trust Points.
Once you’re registered, you can start connecting with other members to find the perfect housing match. A match on SabbaticalHomes occurs when a member finds a home or tenant through our platform, verifies references, and proceeds with a lease or contract. By announcing or confirming a match with a payment of USD $50 (or its equivalent), you’ll receive Trust Points, which demonstrate your successful housing arrangements to other members.
To ensure fairness and transparency, we also award Trust Points for writing reviews, with additional points for receiving 4 or 5-star reviews.
Your Trust Score showcases your credibility and involvement within SabbaticalHomes. Feel confident in your interactions with fellow members, knowing that your Trust Score reflects your reliability and positive contributions to the community.

At SabbaticalHomes, every member is equipped with a Trust Score dashboard, providing a comprehensive view of their earned Trust Points in each category.
This dashboard allows members to assess their credibility and contributions within the community and offers links to various sections for earning additional Trust Points, such as Matches, References, and Reviews.
